Taylor Swift pauses Scotland Eras Tour show until ‘the people in front of me get help’

Taylor Swift encountered some challenges during her acoustic set on the first night of the Eras Tour in Edinburgh, Scotland, but she handled them with grace and concern for her fans.

During the second chorus of “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” from her album “Midnights,” Swift noticed a fan in need of assistance. Strumming her guitar, she asked security to help the fan.

“I’m just gonna keep playing until someone notices them,” she said in a talk-sing voice for about a minute. “We’re going to keep talking until the people in front of me get help.”

“I can do this all night,” she added.

Once the fan received medical attention and Swift was assured they were OK, she responded with a relieved “Awesome.” She then transitioned into a mash-up of “I Know Places” from “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”

Swift also brought back “‘Tis The Damn Season” from “Evermore,” which had been cut from the second year of the tour, and included a mash-up of “Daylight” from “Lover” during her piano set.
